Mother's Day Charity Event with Women of Worth Utah - Utah Photographer

Mother's Day is almost here, and I am starting up a new tradition! Every year we will partner with a Women's Charity to raise awareness and funds for their cause.

This year Horrocks Photography is teaming up with Women of Worth Utah! They are amazing! Here's a snipet  from their site:

      "The mission of WoW Utah is to empower women to achieve lifelong success after they have overcome abuse, addiction, alcoholism, catastrophic illness, disability, or economic hardship, by giving them life skills, confidence tools, and finishing touches with total makeovers.  Our Women of Worth will continue to receive ongoing mentoring and support for their lasting success in life."

Awesome, right?! All of us most likely know someone who has been through the kinds of things WoW Utah helps with. In the end, life is all about improvement and helping lift those you have an opportunity to help.


So what are we doing? We will be holing a weekend event the weekend of May 16 (that's the weekend after Mother's Day) where we will host Mini Sessions at South Towne Ranch (310 E. 10600 S.) and 100% of the session fees collected from the event will go to Women of Worth Utah - and naturally fee free to donate anything else to them if you so desire.


Your session can be anything - a kid, your family, or, and here's what I'd like to see a lot of, a focus on your mothers! We will be requiring that you book these sessions in order to stay organized, so please get booked as soon as you can to avoid missing out. The $60 session fee will cover a 20 minute session and 1 image on a CD. From there you are welcome to add on anything additional you may want. We will have everything ready to view and order (for those who wish to order more than the single digital file covered in the session fee) by Monday, May 18th.

I cannot wait for this!! This charitable organization is SO deserving of the help and recognition we can give them with you all participating in the event. See you all there!
