A New Day - Utah Photographer

We are almost ready to launch the brand new Horrocks Photography

We couldn't be any more excited about what this year holds, and we have some "New Year Resolutions" around here. Now, most people do their "resolutions" at the beginning of the calendar year, and we seriously debated doing that ourselves with the changes we have coming for you at Horrocks Photography. But of course we just can't seem to fit the mold - we decided to launch on our anniversary instead! Being a year removed from Fotogenix, and a full year in our new studio in Bluffdale seemed like the perfect time to hit 'reset'. Our resolutions are built upon three pillars, our fundamental beliefs in our approach to photography.

For our followers (and if you're not, man are you missing out!), last month we unveiled our new logo via our Facebook and Instagram, and what we said then remains true...we need to ditch the structure we initially agreed to maintain in our transition out of being a Fotogenix studio. When that deal was unexpectedly broken, it helped open our eyes to many of the fundamental things we were doing that had been done wrong for so many years. It also has given us a perfect opportunity to make the changes needed to bring the awesome back into photography. As many of you know, we are firm believers in owning who you are, and who are we? We are Photographers who think you deserve better than being a number. We are Photographers who believe YOU are worth our time, effort, and talent. We are Photographers who are saddened by some of the things trending up in our industry, and refuse to let those things slide. These are our pillars - these are our promises to you.

Keep an eye locked into our blog, starting next week we will have a series of posts explaining exactly what this all means for you as we go in depth on each of our pillars and the amazing things coming your way.

So get ready....it's about to get even more awesome around here!
